difficulty changing tranny/diff fluids?

Default difficulty changing tranny/diff fluids?

what problems have you run in to (other than the car being too low)?

i might do it today.

The dealer might have rouded off the fill bolt.
Other than that, the only issue is getting the new fluid in.

yeah i had a tough time getting the new diff oil in, but that was my own fault. if you do the vinyl-tube-attached-to-the-tip method, make sure you don't cut the hole for the bottle too big, and make sure you duct tape it good.

It's more tedious than it is tough to do. Filling the tranny and diff is a pain in the ass, but I found that a funnel and tube helped, with some way to force the last bit of fluid out of the tube (either a bottle with a tip you can stick into the tube or blow on the tube a bit).
