Default Difficulty choosing a color and additional accessories.

Could someone give me a hand in deciding on a color? I am torn between black/red interior and sebring silver/black interior. Also, I am thinking about additional accessories such as a front chin, spoiler, and a side kit. Could anyone give me a hand on choosing good brands.

The black/red is a great color but is very hard to keep clean. The silver won't show dirt nearly as bad. For that reason alone I would go with the silver. Don't get me wrong I love the black but couldn't stand it always looking dirty and if I owned it it would. I have a black CRX that almost always looks dirty and a silverstone S2000 that usually looks clean. I've washed the CRX twice since I've washed the S2000.

If you buy a side kit don't buy the Honda version. The rest is up to your taste. I like the Mugen rear spoiler but have the Honda spoiler on my car.

Go see a Red interior. The 2002 is ALL red; if you haven't seen one yet, find a dealer in your area that has one in stock, sit in it for a while, see what you think. It's shocking at first, but I think it really grows on you after a bit. The classic red really suits this car (IMO). I had the chance to drive a Sebring/Red, and after a few miles there was no doubt in my mind...

I agree that Black is very high maintenance. With care, it's absolutely awesome, but only you can decide how much of a career you want to make out of keeping it clean...

Hey thanks for your input. I also really like the black with the red interior but the problem is that the lines of the car don't show up very well on that color. Also, you're right, it gets dirty easily and it doesn't look good if it is not cleaned.

Black / Red ... Is a good choice, why? Because it looks the most stealth and the lines are concealed? I don't think so in anyway, you just gotta see the car from angles to appreciate how mean the looks give you sometimes. Nevertheless, it might be a pain to keep it clean but it's worth every time bit and effort.

I agree. I have had dark cars for 7 years now (dark green twice, then black) and the black car was by far the most difficult to keep clean.

Personally I think you should get Spa Yellow!!!

But silver/black is pretty slick.

The color I really wanted is Spa Yellow, but the problem is that in 2002 models don't come in spa yellow in Canada. Honda only makes the spa yellow in the 2001 model. Also the 2001 models don't have a rear defrost nor a glass back. This could be annoying

Sorry...didn't know that, didn't mean to tease..
Maybe you could order one across the border and drive it back? Don't know the laws about that...

Definitely go with the Silver. Black is a great color, but its a pain to maintain, unless you plan to wash it everyday.
