the jdms that i have are just a plastic piece. the reflective material is inside the housing.
i thought that all diffusers are just plastic (and either clear, smoked or orange)???

Sorry, wannabe. I forgot about this thread and ordered new smoked JDM from rick. I just got the e-mail yesterday that they shipped.

Anyone else want wannabe's smoked jdm diffusers?

I have heard that the smoked diffusers appear slightly purple when the lights are on. I will be putting clears on my black (they are stock right now), but haven't decided on the JDM or USDM pattern.

I'll try to get some pics and post them.

The color of the smoked diffusers looks different, depending on the lighting. In the pic of my car above, they look like they have a slight purple hue.

Here, they look gray:

And here they look dark gray, even though there is a purple reflection on the car and wall:

I heard it only looks that way when the car lights are turned on. Nice pix, by the way, Pete!

I'll try to get some pics for you tonight, with the lights on.

Here are the pics.

The Smoked Diffusers don't look purple when lit (Sometimes they look slightly purple during the day, when unlit). When lit at night they look more amber. This is using Raybrig, and OEM bulbs, which provide a natural yellow light.

The blue "Hyper-white" bulbs match the HIDs better, but I didn't want to have the blue color during the day. Also the bulbs that I am using have a near-OEM look at night.
