dimensions on stock hood

Default dimensions on stock hood

how much does that thing wiegh, length, witdh, all that good stuff

It weighs around 40lbs, so if your shipping it its going to be about a 60lb box or larger.

As for dimensions, call up a body shop or a dealership and see if they have a hood box laying around. That's the best way to ship one with out having to build your own box.

This is very frustrating I went to honda and they don't know. Went to multiple sites and they dont show it. Asked other friends and they dont know either Im trying to sell this hood and im sure atleast one other person out here has sold a hood before that could be of some help.

IMO, the cheapest way to ship a hood is Greyhound. You just need the longest side of the box and the weight. IIRC it was ~$50 from CA to TX.
Make sure to wrap something around the bottom (where it attaches to the hinges) as those areas are pretty susceptible to damages.

just happen to have the box my hood came in. Im keeping the stock hood in it just in case. Its 61x53.

Grey Hound is good, but they do not offer insurance. That's why they are so cheap.
