Dives right, pulls left
Folks, looking for wisdom and knowledge. My 02 w/ 64000mi has started to dive to the right on acceleration and pull to the left when I let up or put in the clutch to shift. Thought it might be tire pressure but all are aired up equally and the rears are brand new.
Any thoughts?

Sounds like a problem with the diff or one of the rear tires ( <--wild guess ). Take a look at the tread and tires all the way around, including the inside edges.
Also do you have any more info? Any noises, is it worse at speed? How old are the tires? Is the diff original? Have any of the tires been curbed?

Brand new tires? Make sure they're the same size. Also, double-check the tire pressure again.
Check tire pressures AGAIN! This is classic low tire pressure. The other issue may be one rear tire in front, one in rear. Also, make sure that the big wheels have the big tires and are in the rear and vice versa.

I bought my S used (03 w/22,000 miles) and had the same problem. New tires and alignment solved it. People who just use these cars to tool around in never notice these things, but enthusiasts notice them at once. I'd be surprised if it had something to do with your diff or suspension.
Thanks for the input. I had this problem for a few weeks now, both with the old tires and the new. The rears are correct size and matched and pressure is equal. Fronts are 2psi less but matched as well.
I noticed tonight that the front end felt loose. Also around 75 mph I seem to have some vibration in the frame...not the steering wheel. The tread on the front looks good but I'm going to do the alignment thing first and then try a different tire and wheel shop and maybe even spring for new front tires if nothing else fixes it.
