Default DIY ding removal?

i got a few dime sized dings inherited on the trunk i recieved from a member.

and i want to pop them out.

but i dont want to pay like...100 bucks or even 50 bucks for something so small and stupid.

was wondering anyway to pop em out myself? for much less

do those large 6in suction cups they sell at autozone do the trick for small dings? (though im doubting it)

thanks

how big are the dings? usually if a large area is bent suction cups are a possible solution, but if it's like door-ding sized, you need to bend it from behind the ding. not sure what the right tool for that would be though--i've never done it except on cars where it wasnt a big deal, and i was only reducing damage by bending it with my hands.

its a dime sized ding on the trunk lid. dont know how he did it but he did it.

imagine a door ding....but on the top of the trunk lid. haha

theres gotta be an alternative instead of paying some guy 1/3 the cost of the trunk to pop out a liltte dime sized annoyance.

Contact your dealership. They usually have a contractor that repairs dings for them. Ask them to refer you to the person. My buddy is a Subaru tech and he had the ding person do the work and now the ding is completely gone.
