He's right, not until 2002 was the lsd standard and folks used Hyundai LSDs out of their rwd Tiburons. Oh, and Honda is making the s3000 for 2010 which will make 300hp out of a 3.0L V6 that's related to the unit in the NSX and weigh less than a miata, and speaking of the NSX the next one will have a V10 and should be ready about the same time.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

1 vote for no LSD. Well, then how can i visually check? Take the diff out and look? Or is their a stamp of some sort?
He's messing with you. There is nothing to vote about. The car has always had LSD since it was released in 1999.

"if you've ever got a real problem working out if it's got an lsd or not, stick one wheel on snowy/wet grass and one on tarmac and wind the power in. eventually, the car will pull itself free by distributing only a limited amount of power to the free-spinning wheel and the rest to the wheel with traction, as opposed to a car without, which would simply distribute the power down the path of least resistance.
all s2000s have an lsd as standard. period."
Man, sarcasm really doesn't translate well on teh screen huh. Sorry if I mislead you.
