Default do all s2ks come with alarm? power locks?

I was wondering if all s2ks came with factory alarms or was it an option? Also why do they not have power locks? Or is it just mine because its a MY00? Or does my car have an alarm and power locks but I just didn't get the key fob with it? lol

FWIW, I had an MY00 - the alarm was an option, dealer installed. And it had power door locks.

So if I put in alarm on it, I wouldn't be able to lock/unlock the doors with the fob? Or do the doors have door lock motors in them? If they do could I wire a switch to them to have a door lock/unlock switch in my car? It gets so annoying when Im picking someone up and I have to undo my seatbelt to reach over and unlock it. Oh yeah I almost forgot I have another question. My driver door doesn't lock from the inside, it only locks with the key, the inside lock tab feels all loose like they disconnected it. My guess was the previous lender did it to prevent locking the key inside the car. Does that seem like a good reason or is there somethkng else?

lift the door handle and then lock it. thats all hondas, driver side door wont lock without the handle open.

and no s2000 has a alarm from factory unless the first buyer checked the box to add an alarm.

there is a DIY that allows you to use the remote to unlock the passenger door and trunk while the key is in the ignition and on, you don't have to undo the seatbelt and reach over that way just hit the remote unlock button twice. You can also unlock the trunk without removing the key and without having to use the glove box button. I've done this on my car and it is a nice improvement.

Since it feels disconnected it probably is. A good idea actually for countering theft. If you are in the car you should be able to lock the door. The Passenger side will lock but not unlock from the Driver side. You should be able to buy a Honda key fob and and program it to work with your car since all S2000s were equipped with keyless entry.

All S2000s came with power locks with a key fob from my knowledge.
As for the alarm, that was only an option from Honda.
