I called up randdmotorsports to order a set of spoon calipers because at the time they said they would have them in a week and can get them to me a few days thereafter. I placed my order and gave them my credit card info. Few days later my card was charged for a tune of about $1600. I waited a few more days and emailed them about any updates. Every so often I would email them about giving me an update and David would respond with the responses which I've posted below.
I understand items may take a a couple of months to arrive but is has been 5+ months and all I have to show is my visa statement. Had they told me that it may take at least a few months I would have ordered the calipers somewhere else. But they insisted that they will have them in a week!
I have asked for my money back but have not gotten a response from them in 10 days! What should I do???

The problem was that they did not come in on the shipment when they were supposed to. I apologize, but I have tried to keep you up to date as much as possible. They did come in (week of the 17th) and you will have them within 7-10 days. Thank you for your patience.

time to cancel that order, contact your CC company and make sure they refuse any charges to R&D Motorsports.

that's some piss poor customer service.

wow that's really sh*tty of them.

I ordered a hood from evasive and it was originally going to take 2 weeks. all said and done it took about 4 weeks, however, that entire time they did NOT charge my card until AFTER the hood was shipped out. Even though they had the hood made by a 3rd party company.

THAT is pretty good service IMO.

just cancel the charge on your CC. Its that easy - youll have the money back on your card within 24hours normally.

That is absolutely unacceptable. I would ask that they process a full refund immediately. They have to understand where you're coming from on this one. Especially when they've told you 3-4 times that they have arrived and are shipping out soon.

I called my CC company gave an over the phone complaint. They are going to send me some paperwork to fill out and send back to them.
Their shitty customer service should be the reason for everyone to not ever buy anything from randdmotorsports.com

I have to say, waiting 5 months like you did was pretty silly. they were yanking your chain around, and after the first broken promise/lie, I would've cancelled my order. no vendor deserves your hard-earned money after they've tried to deceive you for months on end.

I only give my money to honest companies who are up-front if there is a problem and work with me to solve it. shipping/item out-of-stock problems arise in every business. how that business handles the problem and communicates it to their customer is what makes the difference.

$.02 <-- hard earned, too.

The cals are in stock and I would love to complete the sale and offer you some carbotech pads to go with them at no cost.
