Default Do I need to be cautioned w/apr cooling plate

Do I need to be cautioned when closing my hood with apr cooling plate installed...? Can I still close the hood by dropping it or do I need to push it down?? I'm getting the cooling plate in a few days...I just wanted to know before I install it. Thanks.

for one, dont push down on the hood, its aluminum and can dent easily!
you should be able to just drop it down like normal, its a tight piece, and isnt in the way of the hood/ the hood latch, so you should be good
