I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A PERSON THAT HAS A BAD OPINION ON MY PRODUCT !

WHAT I DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IS SOMEONE TRYING TO INSULT MY PRODUCT !!!

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE

PARKER

THANKS INFINITEBASS AND AXCILLA

WHAT I DO NOT GET IS YOU OPENED THE PRODUCT SAW WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE IF YOU DIDN'T LIKE IT YOU SHOULD HAVE RETURNED IT AND GOT YOUR MONEY BACK !

NOT FLAME THE BUSINESS BECAUSE YOU MADE THE MISTAKE OF PUTTING IT ON

YOU COULD OF GOT A FULL REFUND

opinions are ok, making headline statements telling people not to get them is kind of unfair to the business owner. but then again, you can't please everyone. just my opinions

CAP LOCKS EXPRESS ANGER

I would though agree that most trim kits dont seem right. It has that 3D look to it... but full replacement pieces would cost a fortune!... My 02 VW GTi Replacement Brush Aluminum kit costs about $300 for only 6 pieces
So trim piece kits are the best bang for the buck~!

I think any dash kit, even OEM ones take a little while to adjust to. I have the full JDM Ti setup for my S (UK RHD - at last an advantage to being on the other side of the road ) and for the first few weeks I really regretted buying the window control covers as even they look 'stuck on'. 4 months down the line I love it and wouldn't be parted with it.

My 2p - str8 6 see how you feel in another few weeks, you could change your mind.

Keeping all the fingerprints off internal alloy trim is a PITA though

Those of you that own a business or have owned one will know what I am talking about. How impossible is it to please every client and have only happy customers. It is not possible. Regardless of how hard you may try or how good your product might be there is always that one client or customer that is not pleased or happy with the product or your service. The problem lies not within your product or your service but within that problematic customer who has the issue with your product or your service. For what we know he may have installed the kit incorrectly and if that is the case then it should look like shit. In my experience IPT Dash kits are ecceptional and their product is ten times better than some of the competitors. The IPT kit is the third kit that has been professionally mounted on my car and by far the looks and quality of the product is the best I have seen. If I was Parker I wouldn't even badder answering this post because for every one unsatisfied customer like this one he probably has thirty happy one's. Keep up the good work Parker and don't let guys like this discourage you, your product and your service is excellent.

My eyes hurt after all those capital letters, and my opinion of IPT dashkits went down the tubes after that backlash.

Parker, for future reference, if somebody is unhappy, just offer them their money back, it makes you look a lot better than just yelling at them.

PARKER, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU TYPING IN ALL CAPS!? Look for the key called, "CAPS LOCK"... and press it.

Anyway, IMHO, you'll look a hell of a lot more professional by simply expressing that you understand that each person has different opinions, and your respect his. Offering him a full-refund for his dissatisfaction would have made you look like a really nice guy, and have shown what an up-standing businessman you really are.

The guy has an opinion, and he's entitled to it. He didn't like the product, and felt strongly about it.

these things make the interior looks so cheap!! during the install i kept thinking to myself...."it's going to look better" repeatedly. well i got done with it and the raised stick-on parts just stood out like they dont belong there...very obvious.

waste of money and time. very unhappy right now

He didn't say your company was bad, or that you had bad business practices, or that you ripped him off, or well heck-- he just said he thought it looked cheap and was unhappy with it. I think he's entitled to his opinion.

Sure-- he might have installed it wrong, sure he may have gotten bad pieces... but what if HE just thinks it looks cheap? He's got that right, especially after paying hard-earned $$ on something HE's not happy with.

Just Get over it. You can't please everyone. You response to him makes question if I would ever want to place an order with you-- and thats just my opinion because thats how you made me feel when I read your response to him. If it were me, I wouldn't want people to "feel" that way about me/my business. But, again, thats just my opinion.

Muz, and Rick (also sponsors) have had disappointed customers in the past, and ALWAYS have handled it professionally, in return they have many-MANY loyal customers. (And sure--of course, some would probably never order from them again, but they gained a hell of a lot more customers then they lost by their professional response).

$.02,
Aaron

professionalism is something i look for in businesses i am interested in working with. criticism can be hard to take sometimes, parker, but your reaction completely blew me away. if that is a typical example of how you handle a customer service issue, i'm really not interested in anything you sell, regardless of how much i may want it.
