Do people/kids try to race you?
young professional + CR = target for rich kids with "fast" cars.
ghetto-tized eclipse tailgated me for 10 miles before giving up.
modded rsx-s revved up and continued to stay in front of me for 5 miles before i gtfo on my exit ramp.
all this happened while i was going at a constant speed of 70 mph. so to answer your question: yes, people do try to race you regardless of what sports vehicle you drive.

I tryed to challenge an s2k one day with my civic. But I got nothin. I raced my supervisors gf's s2k after work one day when he drove it. he killed me but now that I got my gt30 I've been trying to see what the difference would be. I know I would win against a stock one now. I think he heard the bov though...
Same thing happened when I was next to a 350z with rims. Ever since I got that turbo everyone backs down

I get kids trying to race me all the time. It's more "wow, nice car..." kind of deal from the mid 20's and up crowd.
the younger kids that have tried racing are usually with fixed up cars like civics and integras and stuff. It usually starts (here in so cal) with speeding up next to you or cutting you off, then revving in neutral or flashing the hazard lights. it gets pretty annoying since a lot of kids think they're invincible and start driving crazy just to egg you on. yellow brings lots of attention. lots. and I never ever race. not worth the trouble it brings later on.

in general no but if i'm out at night friday or saturday there is a nuisance every once in a while. most of these guys are broke pos cars or near stock newer subcompacts and i'm like, are you serious? then they try to race me in traffic or want to race in the rain and they can't get it through their retarded skulls that even if i wanted to race we couldn't...
yeah, i get revved a lot, but i always pass.
there are a bunch of ricers that hang out at the shell station by the base gate. i always drive past and see em out screwin around on the street. funny thing is, it probably has more cops around than anywhere else in Colorado (Air Force SF, Highway Patrol and the municipals) and thats where they meet?
