Default The "do those seats fit" thread...

I've noticed a bit of interest lately in aftermarket seats, and I'm interested myself as well. I'm hoping to start a thread in which people can post any information they have about a seat that **they know** fits in the s2k. Please don't limit information to the "cool" seats. If you know about the lesser brands or have seen them fit in an s2k, please include those as well. If you know of some reason that would keep you from buying them, feel free to include that part, but please state if they fit.

Brands I've come across in searches, etc.: sparco, corbeau, bride, momo, recaro, nex, DAD, supra, tenzo, cobra...

If anyone has the critical dimensions necessary for a seat to fit in the s2k, please post them as well.

If this goes somewhere, I may take a few minutes and dump it into a spreadsheet then post it somewhere, so please include any info you have.

Here's the info I'm looking for, plus anything else you think is pertinent.
What seat is it?
Who makes it?
How much $$ does it run"
What kind of mount does it use?
Any funky fit issues (ie it fits if you...)?

I'll start it off.

Recaro SPG are about $675 probably 650 for a group buy. Those have to be ordered there not normally stock in the states.

I'd like to know which seat can provide the lowest seating position as well. Are there non-adjustable seat rails that will mount even lower (I'm the only one who drives the car, and haven't ever needed to get under/behind the seat, so would give up the adjustment).

Good call! I'm really hoping that this thread will take off. It would be great to have an information/picture library of aftermarket seats that definitely fit the s2k.

If I had to replace my Stock Red seat, this one would be the only choice for me! It's extremely lightweight, but a bit uncomfortable.
It DOES fit very well on the S2k. I know it cause I've seen a lot of pics, with S2000's.
It's a SPOON official product. I dunno for Americans, but for Europeeans they can order it from www.spooneurope.com
If an S2ki member ownz it please post his impressions.
Thanks..
