Default Do TSB's have an expiration?

I have always had trouble out of the driver's side window when putting the top down. I recently read that there is a TSB for this. Also, my transmission is a bit notchy from 1st to 2nd. I stumbled upon a TSB for this one as well.

Do TSB's expire? I mean, once they are announced by Honda do you have a grace period to get to a dealer and get the problem fixed?

I was not the origional owner of this car; in fact I am the third owner. Would that at all matter? Also, would it matter that I service the vehicle myself?

Also, is there a TSB for the top creasing or tearing?

Thanks in advance.

I was wondering this as well but if the cars not under warranty theyre not going to do anything. Its just an announcement to let the technicians know whats wrong with the car so they dont spend hours looking for the problem. I have that annoying clutch buzz on decel but my cars an 01, the previous owner never took it to honda when it was still under warranty to get this fixed.

A TSB isn't the same as a recall, so if the car is not under warranty, it's on your nickle. That said, it never hurts to ask your service writer about it. They may fix it under their "good will" policy. Dealers vary, but it never hurts to ask.

That's definitely what I'm going to do.
