I see this everywhere on here and it always pertains to some kind of service work. What does TSB stand for anyway?

If Honda issues a TSB for the S2000 it would pertain since its a fix for something. There have been some TSB's issued in the past but since you have a new 03, your new car comes with all the past TSB's already performed so no need to worry.

Does the Honda Dealership do these TSB's for free if the car is out of warranty?

I believe the TSB is the same as a factory recall? So, it should be done for free, depending on the problem, and of course if they decide that you've been over revving ,or so they say.

The TSB is not the same as a Factory Recall. The TSB is a bulletin informing the Service Department, should they come upon a recurring problem, on how to fix or repair it.

Usually, TSB's must be performed within the factory warranty where Factory Recalls can be done at any time after the warranty is over.

Check the library for the list of TSB's.
