Do you ever get flashed?
I used to get flashed occasionally in my Acura. Then one day I happened to be driving the S2k in front of my wife driving the Acura. One light was really bugging me even in the rear view mirror and I understood the flashing we were getting. Got the light adjusted and have gotten maybe one flash in the last year.
Of course the Acura has a much different light pattern than the S2k what with the sharp cutoff, but if your getting flashed all time it might pay to get them checked.

Yeah, the worst thing you can do is put HID on a reflector style headlights. Older Acura, Lexus and MB had them and they drive me crazy when they get behind me at night. I am glad that they finaly realize that and are now fitting them all with projectors. The S2000 is not even close in blinding people since it has sharp cutoff and it's a low car. But what bother people is the fact that the S is stiffly sprung and when they see our car bounce up and down they get the "high beaming" effect on them and it annoys them.
I get flashed about my lights all the time...
One time I was driving around with a friend and this chick in the car about 10 carlengths up stands up through the sunroof and flashes us. It was night at the time, so we couldn't really see... Turned on the brights and she stood back up and flashed us again.

When accelerating hard then letting off, it looks like I'm flashing someone from behind.
I decreased the HID angle (it's really easy) to prevent people from misunderstanding.
The roads I drive are well lit and I don't need full distance illumination from the HIDs.
Even if you aren't driving with your brights on, it's the courteous thing to make it more decent for others.
"I'll show them!" is a little juvenile, don't you think?

I do that for most other drivers. People around here do it naturally.
