Yes, CT dropped them in the '80's, then brought 'em back in the '90's when laser became prevalent.

I don't have one on my '91 MR2...but do on the S because it's yellow.

It conveniently hides the laser jammer's laser, and since the front plate is the usual target, having the jammer right below is perfect.

If my S was blander, and I drove blander, I wouldn't put on the front plate.

If you get pulled over around here, they might let you off the speeding ticket, but ticket you for no front plate instead!

(Pushing the limits is all well and good, but push to many and they push back!)

I've never had the front plate on, don't like how it looks. After almost three years, I got my first tix for it. $10.00 fix it in California. Here they want the plate on for the photo intersections. The cameras only take a picture of the front of the car.

I dont have one. Laser needs flat reflective surface to be effective. Cops aim at plate. But I never break posted speed limits. Right.

Also those who don't use front, Honda has the color matching plastics plugs for threaded holes. $7/set at dealer.

Law doesn't require it in Fl, but I have a custom JDM plate up front.

The law requires it in Texas but, I have not had one on in about 5 years. No stops....no tickets
