Do you guys let other people drive your S2000? For me, I dont have problems letting friends who own 5spds themselves(like maximas/preludes/bmws/ghetto corolla) drive my car. After a taste of the s2000 they all say they hate their cars. lol. but I also have friends who dont own 5spds and who dont know how to drive stick and I dont wanna let them drive my car because I dont wanna blow the tranny or the engine!

 

Just my best friend i know him over 35 years.We have driven
each others girlfriends as well .

nobody drives my car, unless you politely ask me to get out while holding a gun to my forehead.

 

Only person to ever drive my S was my wife.

 

I've heard too many stories of people letting their friends drive their S and loosing control. This is not a front-wheel drive car like a civic. Even if someone is an excellent manual driver, it doesn't mean they've ever driven a rear-drive vehicle before - especially one as unforgiving as the S. All you need is a buddy driving your S for the first time, accelerate into a corner too fast, and BAMN! rear-end comes around and your S is screwed...Never, Never, Never. .02
