Arrow Do you like your S2000 in some lighting?

I know its weird but I hate to see it in certain types and angles of light. I love to see it under florencent lights at night and at dawn and dusk. Though, I hate it when its completely sunny outside. Maybe cause it shows off any dirtyness it might have??? I dont know. Is anyone else like this?? Just me ? I am very anal about the way my car looks at all times.

Yeah, you've pretty much identified what is good light and bad light for cars. Direct sun almost always looks bad...

Here's a guide showing some examples of what you're talking about: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=417604

i know exactly what you mean. its because in direct sunlight the car is simply too yellow. but it looks damn good at like 6:00 pm when the sun starts to go away

I know exactly what you saying. at night under a florescent light my sebring just looks beautiful. In direct sunlught the color looks dull and dirty.

I completely agree, I find that Chicane has way too much metallic flake that makes it look like there's glitter all over the car in direct sunlight, but at night under artificial light it looks amazing because of the metallic.

Direct sun/florecent light is murder if you have a black car, it shows EVERY single tiny miniscule hairline scratch and imperfection in the clear

But damn it looks nice at sunset!

Great thread on e46fanatics. I agree with you that high noon light shows all the imperfections I hate! The M3 about 8 pictures down looks sick.
