Ok, so I know that S2000 drivers are the best drivers in the world, but I was just curious: When you're riding in someone else's car, and they do something that would be offensive to another motorist, do you tell them?

Do you correct your girlfriend/mom/dad/brother/sister/boyfriend's driving habits or at least let them know that they might be pissing off other drivers?

Do you mention to them that maybe they should park between the two white lines, instead of over one?

Or do you all just bite your tongue and keep quiet because it's none of your business?

I think he was being sarcastic, or made a type. I read that as "aren't the best"..

Anyways, it depends on the situation, but yes, I will make comments at times.

Well..
I did mention to my dad not to skip-up shift.
And I did mention not to put it in neutral coasting down a highway off-ramp.
My dad had been reading it saves fuel.. it uses more fuel then letting go of the throttle in gear => no fuel at all + you stay in control.
(In both occasions he was driving his own car)

Where he parks his car => I dont care

when they endanger someone else's safety something has to be said, but in a constructive way. for less offensive actions, have to let it go since no one likes a nag.

I have a friend that is a really bad habit of going slow in the fast lane. I don't correct him, as not to offend him. I will though correct someone if the situation is or will become life threatening.

I'm constantly trying to get people into the habit of rev-matching when they downshift. No one I know does it though.

I am a total back-seat driver. I can't stand stupid drivers.

There are so many things to mention that piss me off about the average driver.... it would be impossible to list.

A big one I remember right now is when my brother-in-law would drive on the freeway in the last two lanes where all the semi's run. The pavement is usually terribly on these parts. The car was my sisters so I strongly encouraged him to get the hell over because he was not just annoying me, but causing excessive wear and tear on the care.

Yeah... I know, its a little too much, but I can't keep myself from voicing my feelings when I'm with close friends or family.
