I try to give a salute (thumbs up, horn etc) but if they're coming towards me sometimes the closing speed is too much.

I either flash the high beams or just a simple  . It's nice to see people (few) experiencing the same awsome machinery as me.

I always wave or give a thumbs up, but no-one ever seems to look at me to wave back. I always notice other S2000's. When I'm in my Civic I still wave and usually the person looks at me like they are a badass and don't want to be bothered with.

I wave to all S's around here and they almost always wave back. Also pretty much any other convertibles wave at me when we both have the top down

It depends on the other driver. If they have crap all over the poor car, I just hang my head in shame.

Otherwise, its a wave and a honk.

ALWAYS wave, and usually try to get their attention with my "modifried" horn, (what else?). I fixed it so a quick tap of the horn button gives a "beep-beep" honk, kind of like the old road runner cartoon sound. Perfect timing every time, and because it's slightly delayed, I can get my hand up in the air by the time it honks, which if they are paying attention leaves them a little confused as to how I can honk and wave at the same time.

My mod also does a double-beep when locking the car, which is kind of cool. Of course if you lean on the horn it does the normal constant honking.
