Default Do you wax your wheels?

Also, I avoid caustic wheel cleaners like the plague.

Not wax, but synthetic sealants.
They tend to be more durable and hold up better to the constant beating of road debris, brake dust/heat, road wash, etc.

I used to use Klasse for my paint, but I've since moved on to Menzerna FMJ and let the Klasse work on my wheels alone. Acrylic synthetic = hard.

I don't wax them, but I do periodically use some ScratchX or a similar product to remove any sort of nicks or marks.

Remove my wheels each 5K miles and clean the back side of the rim. Typically soap and water get off 90% of the crud, but I use carb cleaner for tar etc. This of course is only on the "inside" non-finished section of the rim.

And ofcourse my neighbors think I am nuts (and they are right).

Wheels with 20K on them...
