We both wear baseball caps with a hat clip for highway driving.

Check out the hat clips if you are looking for one:

I have long hair. Don't use a hat, I hate hats. I put my hair in a pony tail and away I go. I Love to feel the wind.

I have 3 hats in the car. A bicycle hat from Sisily, a baseball type from a TV news team I worked with and a wool full brimed hat. Both to keep my head warm and thesun out of my eyes.

I always carry a hat, when the weather doesn't look too appealing I usually keep it in the trunk. But whenever the weather is promising it rides up front, usually on the floor in the passenger footwell. Nice black M3 BMW hat leftover from "those" days when torque mattered to me

Edit: Damn, I just noticed how old this post was!

I keep 3 hats in the car. 1 s2000 ball cap, that I wear when the sun is out. One beanie-style stocking cap (I'm sure the kids have some special name for them) that I wear when it's dark, and one emergency ball cap in the trunk.

I have long hair, and I have to tie it in a double pony-tail (pony tail, then in half) so it doesn't whip me in the eyes at high speed. That hurts.

With the top up, I don't wear a hat.

I have a ball cap I keep under the seat for top down occasions. I have long hair, that is quite annoying with out the hat.

I'm not a big hat person since I usually wear nike and jordan headbands, but when I do wear hats is either a nike beanie or skullcap with a headband over it, I also have a few of those holed lace beanie-hats like Justin Timberlake wears for warmer days...

Old skool.

I keep 2 Kangols under the driver's seat for top down drives at high speed: black and blue. Worn Sam jackson style, natch.
