Does the 3rd gen RX-7 handle better then an s2k? If yes or no, any proof? slalom speeds, etc?

In early 2000 a group of top SCCA autocrossers, several with national championships, came to the conclusion that the S2000 was the hardest stock class car to drive at the limits. Before the S2000 came out they felt that the 3rd gen RX7 was the king of tough to drive at the limit.

Does this mean that one handles better than the other? I don't know, but the RX7tt is in a faster SCCA class.
