Ocassionally when I have the AC on I get this faint growling noise from the vents, kind of like a "errrrrrrrrrrgrrrerrrrrrrr" then it quits. It seems to only be associated with when the fan kicks on and then it goes off when the fan does, and it does not do it everytime the fan kicks on only once and a while.

Anyone else ever get this

 

Mine does the same thing ... everytime my two year old son is in the car he tells me theres a ghost in the car ..

lol, not to be off topic, but when i do have the ac on there is sometimes this smoke that comes out. it doesnt happen all the time but every other time when the ac is on it happens.

and yes my car is also a MY06

 

^ that smoke you are seeing is just condensation.

 

oh, humm never happens in any of my other cars.

 

I will be the first 2004 to say, this happens to me to. The first time I was driving a friend home and we thought it was a plane haha. It only happens when I have the A/C green light on. If it is off no noise is made as the air conditioning blows.

 

This happens to MY02 too. I want to know what is causing this?

 

ive seen the smoke too lol. freaked me out for a second. idk about any noise though.

 

Mine makes all kinds of weird sounds. It always freaks people out when they hear it. And yes the "smoke" is just condensation.
