Default does anyone has engine overheat problems?? NEED HELP!

Right now, I have a Greddy oil temperature gauge. When I was driving 95mph for around five minutes, the oil temperature is about 120 Celsius. When I drive 120mph the temperature is 125 Celsius. The normal engine temperature is 90 to 110 Celsius.
Do anyone have the same problem as me? Need Help!

I wouldn't consider that to be "overheating". Oil temp should be around 95 C at extended idle. If you are using a good oil, you're fine at those temps.

Oil temperature is a function of engine speed, simple as that. If the "normal" temperature is 90C, then at "normal" driving, (say 75 m.p.h.) your temperature should be close to "normal."

My M Coupe, at sustained speeds of 85 m.p.h. is around 230F. Hence the Mobil 1 15W-50.

Good luck on the experiment!

He is talking about OIL temps, not COOLANT temps.

Why would you expect that the temps would be anywhere close to "normal" at such abnormal speeds? The weight of the oil is not going to reduce temps, it will just help the engine deal with high temps.

my point is, can I cruise at 110mph for three hours while the engine temperature is about 120 celsius, and im using mobil1 0w-40. Am I hurting my engine?? can this engine stand for that kind of heat? One time I drove to Vegas, the engine temperature even goes up to 130 Celsius. Am I hurting my engine???

Why are you running a 0W-40 if ambient is in the 80s? The only people that should run a 0W-XX live in areas that have ambients in the 10s. If you are really going to be driving above 100 mph for hours, you should be running 20W-50 Mobil 1, but even still, I don't think you are hurting your engine with Mobil 1 at those temps. Those temps don't seem that high for Mobil 1.
