I've driven one at an autocross. I was really impressed - it is seriously fast. But the handling was off on that one because the tires were old, hard and corded, and the alignment was funky. That car got sorted in time for the One Lap of America and did rather well, however. It's not in my budget, but I'd definitely like to have one someday.

If anyone is looking for an Ultralite here's a deal.

The car that competed in One Lap of America and came in 2nd in their class because they didn't even run in the first 2 events and 11th overall (I think) still because they didn't even run in the first 2 events

AND finished 1st in one of the Regions of SCCA autocross

is for sale. $24,000

Did I mention it was on the cover of the Feb 2005 Kit Car Builder magazine?
