Default Does anyone have a really high mileage S2k?

I am wondering if anyone has an S2k with like 65,000 or higher miles?
How is the car running now and what if any problems has arisen during the whole time?

I want to see if the S2000 is like all other Hondas that seem to last forever and can be relatively trouble free for many many years to come.

I believe there is someone on the board with around 75k miles, and probably a bit more now.

I have 70,000. Got a new engine at 58,000. The car still feels very tight, it does not squeek or rattle or make any dumb noises.

why did you get a new engine? the old one blew ? If so, was it a fault of the engine or was it a driver's error?

It was about $7500. for the whole engine installed. One of the valve springs failed and the valve stuck open. It was not an over rev. most of the mechanics said that if it was an over rev then all of the valvs would be broken or at least bent. honda would not cover it because my rear tires were worn out more then my front tires, so I must be abusing it. WTF. But I think I geting my money back. I got an attorney who has been talking to Honda care and I think Im going to get it all back: )

how long does your warranty last, James? I wouldn't think honda would need to replace the engine @ 58K ?
