Yea, mine are chipped too. I plan on repainting and stonegarding them. No idea on cost.

Here you go guys: The complete installation instructions for those side strakes off the H and A site. This will show you what those parts look like and where they go:

do you guys think the dealer will have the plastic/rubber 'lower sidestrake' part for sale? when my sidestrake was loose, the rubber part was touching the ground until half of it was shaved off..

basically, i need a lot of the fastening stuff like screws and stuff...

would the dealership just have those specific parts?

and looking at the H&A site, i can't believe that the sidestrakes cost as much as the OEM front lip!... that's just nuts ... i was totally forced into buying them with the car too

and what is stonegarding? a type of clearcoat or doyou have to take it to a shop?

I had to get new clips put in mine. Luckily I was still under warranty at the time.

This is otherwise known as "3M Scotchcal" film. Also search under the names of "Xpel", "ClearBra", "Invisibra", "Stongard" on this forum to find many threads on it. It "can" be installed at home after you buy the kit but this is NOT recommended. Shop around, prices vary - A LOT!
