why not a front lip instead of a splitter

 

The front lip covers more of the bumper. I like the fact that the splitter leaves the bumper completely visible.

 

Since we would have to drop in on a commercial shop to use a metal brake big enough I don't think I can get anymore down easily.. even for myself.

The piece comes powercoated black and looks pretty good that way. It would also be more difficult to get bodytape to match where the black is easy.

The car has the JIC coilovers at the time of this picture. Lowered about an inch which is all I think you can do for street use.

The reason I have this instead of a lip is that plastic stuff gets broken easily. The bumper will probably break before this spoiler will.

 

I know of a pretty good body shop locally. Maybe I could bring them a photo of yours and see if they could shape it.
