Default Does Clearing Your Corner Void The Warranty On The S2k?

I AM CURIOUS BECAUSE I RECENTLY NOTICED THAT WATER STARTED TO ENTER THE HEADLIGHT AND FOGGED IT UP. NOW MY RIGHT SIDE HEADLIGHT WON'T TURN ON. I OPENED IT UP AND NOTICED THAT THE HID BOX IS A LITTLE BIT WET. I AM LETTIN IT DRY OUT RIGHT NOW. BUT IF WORSE COMES TO WORST. WILL HONDA REPLACE IT FOR FREE?

Don't type in CAPS it represents Yelling.

No honda will not replace your headlights if the damage was done by your mod. Well that is if they know. Your head lights are cleared so they will mostlikely figure it out.

I would think you are on your own on this since the light has been opened. You can always try though.

Let me get this straight...

You took the headlights apart and apparently didn't seal them up properly, and you want to know if Honda will pay for your mistake?

Modification usually means the warranty will be void.

it's a pain to fix, but open it back up, clean it out REEEALLLLY well and make sure all the water is gone and take your time in doing it right with more silicone. if you get it sealed up right the 2nd time around, your problem should be solved.

or you could just put the ambers back in take it to honda get it fixed and then do it again. A lot cheaper than a new headlight, will kill two weekend days though

You can't be serious about this. The headlight leaks or has condensation because of the mod done to it. It's not a warranty item since whoever did the mod broke the factory seal, didn't seal it back up properly and caused the problem. Please explain how this is a manufacturers defect and should be covered under warranty for free?
