Default does this happen to you?

while i RARELY ever do this(maybe only three times) today i reved at a stoplight and took off at 5000rpm
i dont really remember what happened before(long time ago) but this time i was shocked at the amount of side ways action that happened to my car!
the car got uncontrolable that half of my car got to the next lane! luckly there where no cars,i regained control when the car stopped spinning the wheels at about 35mph
after that i checked the tires: less than half to go, which is very good....so i wonder whats going on..??
anybody tried launching at these rpms and got sideways like that? and any recomendations?
thanks

Were your tires properly warmed up?

It happens to me when I shift from 1-2, the car slides sideways and then regains control once theres traction.
