Usually when I get that sound I know it is time to get all the empty beer bottles out from under the seat...(!)

Is it the seatbelt?

i know what youre talking about. The plastic on the back of the seat is hitting the plastic on the roll hoops... yes its annoying... just move the seat one notch forwards

I agree with s2kskibum and ccarnel. It's either your passenger being too far back or the seatbelt hitting something else.

Over the right bumpy roads the seat shimmies violently. Either I need a passenger, or I need to move out of Pennsylvania.

NO known cure???
It comes from where the pasenger puts his back on.
Not touching the plastic nor nothing seat belt etc.
??????/? i agree with Lehighwiz(Matt).

I know exactly what it is :*)

It is the seat belt clasp. If you will slide it all the way to the top, and turn the metal piece upwards, it will stop the noise. The noise is caused by the plastic seatbelt tapping against the door.

I'm sure this is what you are talking about.

no the whole upper part of the seat moves a little front and back.So it makes noise.NOT the whole seat moves but the upper part!
Is there anyway to tightening it up?

I've got the same3 prob as stena.
My first reaction was to move it forward off the roll hoops but nothing.

Plugged in the passenger seat belt to make sure that it wasnt rattling..... nothing.

I've come to the same conclusion, that the upright of the seat is vibrating at the hinges.

Hasn't been annoying enough to worry about yet but I'd start by taking out the seat and looking for the bolts that connect these pieces.
