Does the S2000 change the way you drive?
I am far more mechanically sympathetic in the S than I was in my old car (Focus)
I always down shift blipped for rev-matching but its much more fun in the S with rifle loading like gear changes.
I would not say it has changed my driving style but it is far far more fun and sometimes I can be in a long sweeping bend and casually glance at the speedo "Oh... I'm going that fast am I?"

i feel my driving has changed in a way but not that differently. i just feel really comfortable in my S then any other car since i had it about a year and a half now. overall i feel my driving changes when i have the top down... ;p lol i drive a little more "agressively" since i here the engine to the fullest and i have the open air environment. and.... i also put my shades on when im going top down
My driving wasn't too bad to begin with when driving my fwd coilovered car and thought that it drove amazing around a corner... I was amazed when i first took the s2000 around a corner, and ever since then when I get a chance to drive it fast I do so, it's just the kind of car that sorta prods at you wanting you to drive faster at any given opportunity...
but I would never be dangerous!!

the s2k definitely changes the way you drive, but it can go either way...
being the fun, pure sports car that it is, it does entice you to go fast and test the limits. but at the same time, since it's a smaller 2-seater open car, I notice that I'm much more careful and attentive when driving around others in my s2k (especially around larger SUV's, trucks, etc.)

Oh, nice stable of cars, Ted H!!
I've owned an S for almost eight years now. It's my only car. Before I had a Mercedes diesel for 20 years. Like going from the tortoise to the hare. I'm definitely an assertive driver, and I drive the car the way it was meant to be driven. Why would I not??!! My +1 calls me Mario Andretti.
I still get a thrill from pushing that start button!

I feel like im always paying extra caution to the police, i've gotten messed with and followed way too many times, and it's the worst when im actually obeying the traffic laws and i'm still being messed with.

I'm so sick of cops being prejudiced against my car. It seems like a daily thing now I get followed or something. I used to watch carefully for others. Now I look for cops that want to take my money. And apparently they also want to look for drugs which I don't have.
But I do drive different now with the S. I am vastly more aware of what the car I'm in is capable of and what speed is safe to be at. I've also noticed how vastly uneducated other drivers are about this subject and their own cars. I now drive as if any maneuver or tire slip can be safe in the immensely capable S, as long as it is fully expected. It's the unexpected maneuvers and tire slips that get you
