You'd be surprised. The 911 doesn't have the name recognition it did in the 80s. Ask 100 girls and 75 of them won't know what a 911 is. The other 15-20 of the remaining 25 will hear "BMW" and pick that instantly.

Well, there is more here than meets the eye.

I'm not big on the car shows (CCR has now stopped doing the shows), and I don't talk about them much because if I say anything positive it sounds like I like the shows more than I actually do, but your comments put me in a position of having to provide a little more information. I have never been to a car show where one of the CCR cars did not win either best in show, or people's choice. When we were doing the shows, our cars were always a big draw. I've always suspected that nobody would even notice my car if it weren't being shown with the other CCR cars, but show regulars, including many of the models at the shows, think that CCR is something special. We have actually been paid to show some of our cars in Puerto Rico.

So anyway, I have no idea of why the CCR cars were so popular, but they were always a big hit at the shows. And not surprisingly, many of the "car show models" are attracted to the regular show winners for the same reason they're attracted to the shows. I'm sure they have a variety of motives, including some I wouldn't understand, and some I'd find objectionable. On top of that, I'm the oldest member of CCR, by a full decade; I'm an old fart and an eccentric who many people say looks like Gandalf (Lord of the Rings). I have no doubt that some of these females see me as a potential "suger daddy." If it was just posing with the car, I'd agree with you, but coming to our afterparties, sitting in my lap, and making embarassing suggestive offers right in front of my wife, go a little beyond what they're being paid to do at the shows.

What amazes me is that most of them know that I have a daughter that is only a few years younger than they are, and I'd ring my kids kneck if she behaved the way they do. I'm not going to be critical of their lifestyle, but it's just not my cup of tea.

But anyhow, you're mistaken if you think they're just posing with the car becaue it's their job. Normally you have to ask them to pose with your car. I have never asked a model to pose with my car, and never taken a picture of a model posing with my car, EXCTPT when the models come to me and ask to be photographed. At the shows, there was always a group of females, models and spectators, hanging around with CCR and the CCR cars. That's where they'd go when they weren't working.

As for how much the S2000 attracts females, which is the real topic here, there are most certainly females who are stupid crazy about the S2000. If I were a womanizer I could have gotten more BJ's than Bill Clinton, in exchange for rides in my little Honda, and in at least a few cases it would have been purely becaues the crazy chick was stupid horney for a ride in an S2000.

to many the S is a girly car. So, yes girls like the car before driver.

For big bad cars with huge motors and power, it is the opposite.

The exception is when we are talking about females who like to drive as much as us.

you need to have a hot girl on the passenger seat with the top down. That's the only way to ride it.
