Just out of curiosity, does this car get good looking girls? During a test drive, I noticed two girls checking out the silver S2000 I was driving. A friend of mine reported a similar story. I want to find out if this is standard.

I think this is pretty standard for any new sports/sporty car. I have people (girls and guys) check me out when I drive my mom's cougar, and that's hardly an exclusive or fast car (it's an automatic to boot!). As long as people don't see a lot of them, they will check you out.

Remember, you only have 1 spare seat - maybe travel with a friend to pick up more then 1

It sure does.

My fiance has made more than one "cute" comment to me about the way that it attracts the attention of the opposite sex (even when she is in the car).

Of course, I should be honest and tell you that it also gets the attention of men. Even in Sunny S. Cali, these cars are rare enough to provoke questions/comments from guys who love cars.

Maybe it is just me being uglier than 2-week-old-leftovers, but the days of girls being into cars seem to be over. In my 2 sports cars, I get lots of guys checking the cars out, but the girls really don't seem to care. At least around Dallas. Even in the 427 cobra (replica), although in that, you get lots of comments from people, everywhere you go.

Be careful of the girl option. It can be very expensive, especially if you've got one of those "pesky" wives hanging around. I picked up the mistress option with my '82 928 Porsche and it nearly cost me a marriage that will celebrate it's 25th anniversary this July. When I got the Stook, it came with a warning from my bride: No tickets; no girlfriends. Well, I haven't gotten any girlfriends.

no, not really. Most people who git all giddy about the S2000 are young boys or Ricers... Unless your interested in them

Not my case.

I have had all sorts of girl attention. Stories that come to mind:

One girl wanted to pay me $10 for a ride in the car.
Two girls followed me for over a half hour going through many corners even doing 2 U-turns.

Generally, its just girls who want to sit in the car...

It must be my "boyish good looks" i guess

My wife tells me she gets alot of play when she drives it. She says the S2K is a real "boxer dropper".
