DOES S2000 HAVE i-VTEC OR VTEC?
What Honda did not want you to know was that i-VTEC was actually developed by a pair of rouge engineers pictured here:

These two super geniuses developed a combustion engine with not just artificial intelligence, but real intelligence and the ability to learn, adapt to new environments/obstacles and destroy any possible threats. The system grew beyond their control and became self sustaining, developing its own massive fleet to release upon the world after 2001. Honda became aware of this plan and fearing that they would be powerless to stop it, went to work on a car designed to outperform the current i-VTEC line in every aspect. This car would offer faster acceleration, better braking and better cornering than its intelligent counterpart. It would conserve gas and remain as reliable as other Honda cars of the past. The top would be a convertible for ease of hunting/navigation. It would be released upon the world in limited numbers with the ability to each carry 1 male and 1 female with VERY limited cargo, in hopes of continuing the human race. This car was known as the S2000.
Fortunately, the Y2K meltdown that everyone feared indeed hit the i-VTEC collective brain harder than expected. The remaining engines were left severely disabled with only the ability to control timing on some of the more advanced models, and only the intake cam on others. The S2000 was still produced for the next 9 years not only to commemorate their technological achievement but to remind those of us who know the real story how close we came to annihilation.
Now that you know the truth, go outside take a look at that beautiful machine sitting in your driveway and remember that it was designed to protect not only you but the continuation of your species....
....Since everyone was making up stories about what i-VTEC was I thought Id give it a try as well.
