Default Does S2000 use a drive belt or chain?

Hi,

Just bought a used S2000 with no owner's manual, so I was wondering if the S2000 uses a drive belt or chain? Not having the manual, what are some major things to watch out for besides regular oil change?

Chain This motor was well built with forged parts, just make sure you keep the maintenance up and take your time learning the car (shifting) before you drive it hard.

Welcome and enjoy!

Good to know it is a chain, then I don't have to worry about having it replaced before it breaks and ruins the engine. I was hoping it was a chain.

The S2000 has a drive SHAFT. Only motor cycles have drive belts or drive chains. The S2000 does have a timing chain though.
