Default Does stock S2k has rear lower brace?

I'm planning to get Spoon rear lower brace and I'm wondering if spoon brace is replacing stock rear lower brace..

Does stock s2k have rear lower brace or is it just add-on..

The car has both upper and lower rear braces and the consensus is that replacing with others makes no difference so the funds are better spend on something else.

I only replaced mine w/ the spoon one because I hit a rock and bent my oem one. I didn't notice a difference.

I didn't believe a well-designed rear strut bar would do anything, but now I'm convinced.

Contact AJ PwR for info on the Alex rear bar. It's inexpensive, light, and of a much better design than the stock unit.

JL9000..
Does spoon make rear X-brace? isnt it just lower rear brace(bar)?

Do you have picuture of how it goes in?
Because I'm installing cusco 3-piece brace bar and I dont know if it would interfere with spoon rear X-brace...

The proper name for the Spoon front X-brace is "Cross-beam brace."

X-Brace is called cross brace like auto-x is called auto-cross.

The rear is also a "cross beam brace," and that's the piece you were planning to get.

When I installed my new exhaust I found that my stock lower cross beam brace was bent up pretty badly, and I have no recollection of hitting anything hard enough to bend it. If it's that soft how can it provide any rigidity?

I'll be replacing mine with a Cusco unit as soon as my finances permit it.

I'm still little confused here..

So..Spoon REAR X-brace is just look like a bar? not X-shaped?
