Default does this surprize you?

i was at a friends house the other night, and he had all his friends that i didnt know
anyway....my best friend(who owns a BMW Z4 was there too)
when we decided that we are going to hit the local burgers...everyone stood there in amazment after they found out that the little honda roadster belonged to me!
they were swarming all over the car asking 10000 questions
one guy poped the hood, while the other asked if i could put the top down....the other asked me to rev the car......ETC, ETC..........
all this happened while my poor friends Z4 was COMPLETLY ignored!
no one asked, not even look!
4 guys asked me for a little test drive
i refused and gave them all little spins....they where completey baffeled buy the honda!
one couldnt belive that a 4cyl could sound like that (i have an intake)
this took us more than 45 minutes....the owner of the house got annoyed because he was feeling more hungry!
my Z4 friend was pissed as hell!
whats in the little honda that the BMW doesnt have??
anything similer happend to you?

When I brought my S into my apartment complex, same thing. Everyone crowded it, ignoring the STI, the Porsche and the Corvette parked next to me.

I had an older lady tell me nice car. Then she said is that those new BMW's. Then she was surpised to see the honda emblem.

However comments that you mentioned above usually comes from the younger crowd. Maybe its because of the honda's and toyota's influence on the sports car revolution.

the s2000 looks like its speeding even at a standstill, it makes people want to learn more about it(at least what people have told me in the past).

I had cops gazing me down as I am passing them on opposite lane although I am driving speed limits.

I've had cops target me with their laser guns and causing my V1 to go off every time while I am in middle lane driving next to speeding cars although I am driving in speed limit.

I've had people telling me that I should slow down while they are in the car although I am driving within speed limit.

It amazes me how design and feel of the car influences people to perceive our cars in certain way but I guess that very same image is what we were attracted to the car in the first place.

I don't mind at all.

That doesn't happen to me often, but it's a great feeling when it does.

Doesn't really happen to me cause I live in Suburbia Hell where everyone drives BMW's, Mercedes and luxury Suburban Assault Vehicles.
