No, I run into a better class of strangers.

 

if somebody thought an S is a civic, I'd say "thanks" and let them be on their way. Even if they knew its proper name - they probably wouldn't appreciate it for what it is. After owning one, I think you have to drive it to understand. If you don't like driving, you won't like this car.

My POV: "Damn! I have to drive. Wait! I drive an S2000!" I am suddenly excited to drive. Honda could name it the Cheeseball 96 and I would still drive it, cuz it in rocks!

 

My car has been confused with Porsches, BMWs, and even Maseratis, but no one has ever thought it was a Civic. But then again, so what? If you like it, that's all that counts.

If you live your life worrying what other people are going to think, you're in for a tough time.

 

I've had people think it was a BMW, a spider, a Subaru, and the best one was " hey what's that some kind of import?" But I have all the "H's" replaced with "S's"

 

Porsche, BMW and Maserati can only dream about having Honda's engineering ability. I own some Rick Hesel "S" insignias, but my S2000 proudly wears the "H" badge. If it stood for "H"esel, that would be okay too, but it stands for "H"onda.

I bet your Civic was saying to itself, "I'm glad I don't belong to damn "milleniumS2k" any more. He never appreciated the sophistication that went into my design.

I'd be buying a new Civic, or RSX-S, or Accord V6 6 Speed except for one problem.....my ten year old Prelude is still so excellent.

My S was mistaken for BMW Z3 and Z8!, but my IS300 was mistaken for a Civic.

 

I always thought the IS300 looked like a Civic :duck:
