It is done... Bye Bye my Love...
My 2002 S2000 Sebring/Red w/ 04' spec wheel/tires (14,866 miles) has been sold. It's gone. Now it's time for the healing process. Let's see how many months I make it...
Here is my 100% S2000 conditional replacement gaurantee:
1. If Moonrock becomes available, especially with all red interior... I will buy another.
2. If the 2.0L engine returns... I will buy another.
3. If an i-Vtec powerplant is added... I will buy another.
4. If the original gear ratios return with the 2.2L... I will buy another.
5. If they do release a new S model... I will buy another.
6. If they could get more revs out of the 2.2L.. I would buy another. Even the RSX-S is revving 8Krpm+.
Until then... Be safe. I don't have a choice... HAHAHA...

In too deep, Nah...
I traded a wrecked/repaired 01TL for the S and rolled too much negtive equity. I found a willing buyer and just couldn't pass up the opportunity for someone else to pay it off... If I bought another one today with the same miles (14,866), retail price with nothing down... I would owe less than I do with the one I just sold.
I can't decide on what to buy now... The woman wants me go TL. Mom thinks I'll end up with another S.
stay down.

He assumed my loan... His balance is north of $28K.
I spent some time in all of the TL's this weekend. 5AT, 6MT, 6MT A-spec. I am close to being sold on the car. Thinking of doing 5AT Anthracite/NAV. The 6MT is way faster but I couldn't vibe with the clutch actuation. Really strange. Damn what a ride...

wait a sec.
you found someone willing to pay over $28K for a used '02 with near 15K on the odometer?
dude, he got scammed. and so did you, originally.
the only winner in this case is the bank.

I have to agree, the car is worth 22,000 at the most. New 03's were selling at dealers for 27,900. Lets hope when he assumed the loan he took on the entire obligation. Many banks retain the original buyer on the loan in an assumption so they can go after them if the new buyer defaults.
