The MY04 targets at a bigger crowd than the MY00-My03s. You better hope it isn't rare because if it is during the two years of production then it's safe to assume that it is a failure.

IMHO, I don't think that the MY04 will help the slouching sales of the S2000. They are not attracting any more customers into this already crowded market. The buyers of the MY04's will be old S2000 owners and civic owners who can finally afford one (Like myself). The older crowd will not buy it because it's basically the same car and they would have bought one before now if they wanted one. Also, a used Boxster S can be gotten in the 30's now and many people would probably perfer that over the S2000. Then there's the 350Z and other choices. The S2000 was not as opposed in 1999 as it is today, meaning that the sales will continue to slouch for the next few years until Honda decides to stop production after the 2006 model year.
