Default door creaking

When it was cold out, the driver door on my 05 was creaking at the point where the prop starts to provide more resistence then holds the door open. Actually, sometimes it was more of a snap than a creak, just at that one point.

I haven't felt or heard it since the weather got a little warmer.

Has anyone else here had or fixed this before?

Silicon based grease will solve the issue.

I figured that would be the answer; just thought I would ask because it was really loud. Like I said, almost more of a snap or bang than a creak.

You could make music with it...

Snap.. bang .. creak.. squeek..
Bang... creak.. squeek.. snap!

Just Kidding.
Apply grease and the music stops.
Dont forget the rear doors...
