Default Door Ding FTL!

I was bored at work today and I had some detailing stuff in my car so I decided to go clean my car up a bit. As soon as I walk outside I notice and F150 parked obnoxiously close to me, and the owner was just about to get into the car. He was carrying a bad with him also. I see him swing the door open and hear a loud bang, and the sound of glass bottles dropping. I thought he hit my car! But I wasn't sure, and I didn't want to accuse him of it in case he didn't. He asks me in a sketchy voice if I have a subaru? ( I was wearing a Ken Block hoody). I said no? And he gets in his car really fast and drives away. As he leaves I walk to my drivers door and there is a nice scuff of brown pain on my car with a little dent. His F150 was brown. And that was never there before. Safe to assume he did that. AHHH...Makes me so mad, I always park far away, but they still get you. I hope I can get rid of this without a lot of money.

Have you considered looking for him? I havn't seen many brown F150s, you might be able to find him and have him pay for it, if not let the police know about that. Could be considered a hit and run I believe (little fuzzy on the law in that aspect).

$50 for paintless dent removal. Doors are easy.

Yeah, I think the guy may frequent that parking lot, so I will try to talk to him or look for blue paint on his truck

I have a bunch of little door dings. So mad lol. This summer I have to PDR a few dents.

i know exactly what you mean when you try to park far away and somehow a large truck still manages to park near you when there are literally a million other spots to park

I feel the same way. I always try to park in a spot that is against a curb and I park as close as possible to the curb.

damn.... i have a little policy. I always park in the farthest corner sport of any parking lot... if I come back to my car and there is a door ding (i have none so far) and I can measure how the car next to me door caused the damaged, then I key the car. I only had to do this once with my old car. Red car next to me, with red paint on my door and a ding, I was inside for literally 5 min.

Door dings are a huge pet peeve of mine. People just don't care about other peoples things enough to be careful opening up their doors. It doesn't help that the sheet metal on the s is really thin either
