Default Door isn't flush

I just purchased an MY01 (will have it next week) and I have noticed that when I close the passenger side door, it closes fine, but isnt flush to the car. Once closed, I can push it by hand and it goes in, but comes right back out. The drivers side is the same way but not nearly as bad. The car hasn't been in any accidents. Can this be adjusted somehow so that the door closes up tighter to the car?

Thanks

Are we sure it has not been in an accident? Carfax typically only reports vehicles that have been turned into the insurance companies. They are getting better and reporting police reports etc, but it is still only what is reported.

Good Luck - If it hasnt been in an accident, I dont know...I would think there is a way to tighten things up a bit.

yea, ive noticed that too on my MY00. The passenger side is closed, but it seems to be sticking out just a tiny tiny bit. I guess its just one of those things you have to deal with.

Sure, you should be able to adjust the door latch strikers (or have them adjusted) to make the doors close flush.

Thanks. I am pretty sure it has not been in any accidents. The owner told me that it hasn't, plus I looked for some tale tell signs. I guess I will have a better idea of how to do this once the car is in my posession.
