Default Passenger Side door lock gone limp!

The "Lock" - 'flip' thing on the inside of my passenger door is only moving slightly when the car is locked or unlocked.

End result, - the passenger door can be opened from the outside when the car is unlocked, - but not from the inside... - unless, you manually flip out the flip marked "lock" near the door handle....

Anyone had this before? Wondering if it was common..? Or, if anyone might be able to provide a possible solution?

Remove the door card and take a look. It sounds like one of the actuator rods is loose/needs greasing.

Use THIS GUIDE to take the door cards off. Takes about 3 minutes
