It was a gorgeous day in East Tennessee today so I took my new S2K out for a drive on the Dragon. I though I would share a few of the photos I made along the way. It was too cold for the bikers so I had the whole road to myself. The only car I saw was a Jeep and the driver saw me coming, pulled over, and waved as I went by....

I'm new to these online chats, so, if the following URL's don't download the pictures directly you can get them from my AOL FTP.

Outstanding, Hoser! That stretch of road is simply incomparable. Totally amazing...!

I wish I could just take off and drive there like that!

It's great to have the road with no traffic. What a great stretch to drive. I drove it last year, but with a lot of traffic. Most pulled over to let me pass. I'm really looking forward to April.

Hoser-

Great to see another Knoxvillian on the board and a Spa Yellow to boot. I've had mine for about a month now. Had the top down for the first time today. Actually considered heading up to the Dragon myself. That would have been crazy meeting you on the road up there! Maybe we can hook up sometime. Another member Saliv8 lives in town to. We should all get together!

Thanks for the pic's!

I would personally love to see a storage area for great pics such as this. No, not a free-for-all save-any-old-S2000-pic area (none of MY pics would qualify...so far), but one that holds some really unique shots of the stook or backdrops.

This one would get my vote, as well as the one posted a couple of months back that showed a silver(?) against a golden, cloud-filled sky (Florida?). That car almost looked purple...

Cool pics Hoser.

The signs in the first one are such a vivid yellow against the rest of the scene that it adds an almost surreal quality to the picture. Great scenery in the second photo also. The lens flare, whether intentional or not, creates a great effect.
