Though I don't drive my S in the rain, I have done a few short drives on slick roads. Anyway, when ever I get out of my car and the soles of my sneakers get wet, my feet (most importantly my left foot) has almost NO grip on the pedals. . . Has anyone else noticed this. . . Any solutions (no wise comments). . .

Rubber plugs in the holes help a bit. I bolted some Sparco pedals into my Subaru, and they're close to the same design as the S2000's. They came with black rubber plugs to put in the holes. Major pain to get in there, but they help a lot.

I still slip sometimes, but it's much better with them, than without. See if you can find a small plug that'll fit in there, maybe from a hardware store?

S2000 pedals already have the rubber plugs in them.

Infact in NSW, Australia aluminium peddles are a defect and you can fail registration for them. In later years it'll probably take some explaining when we take our cars in for inspection and the mechanic is not familiar with the S.

I personally don't have any problem with grip on raining days. Must be those S02 sneakers you're wearing

In later years you can move to Qld where you can drive any old sh!tbox on the road and no annual inspections

Yeah, but isn't it mandatory to wear a bowling hat and drive at 40 in an 80 zone up there
