Default Drive with windows up and top down?

Would driving with the windows up and the top down cause alignment problems resulting in noise when the top is up?

no. i've driven off and on like that for almost the past 2 years and with no ill effects. you can hear the radio better with the windows up. even better with rick's windscreen.

It's not that the top "shrinks" when left down for a while. It just takes a bit of effort to get the folds out of it . This usually means having to give the handle a tug when you latch the top.

Not if it's 40 degrees out and you want to get some fresh air...I did that all the time in the winter. With them down, it's too cold but if you put them up and blast the heat, it's fine.

Yes, and I'm a race walker and I also whisper loudly!

If you want to hear your stereo without getting blown away by the wind while enjoying the sun and a cool breeze, top down and windows up is the only way to go when you're traveling more than 40 mph.
